Strange behavior on setSaveAndRestore(true). [message #676356] Fri, 03 June 2011 18:01 Go to next message

Hi,

I have a very simple app, with only one ViewPart with an image (Yes, still learning...). If I start the app after I deleted workbench.xml the view comes up fine. I close the app, restart it, and the view is gone. The view's constructor isn't even called.

The only way to get it back is to set setSaveAndRestore to false or to check Clear Workbench.

OS X Snow Leopard.
Helios Service Release 2.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Your attention and help is highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Erwin

Is there anything in your runtime workspace error log? <workspace>/.metadata/.log

Sorry, didn't have notification turned on. Missed your response.

No, there is nothing in the log file.

Erwin
