Hi

Is there a step by step of how to create a WAR package from RAP
application ?
The one in the official documentation simply doesn't work.

I'm totally new to RCP/RAP development so if I need to learn something
before I'll be happy to get a pointer for this.

I'm using Eclipse 3.3 J2EE configuration with the RAP plug-in.

Thank you

hi!

maybe it's best to start searching this newsgroup for "deploy", there
should be plenty threads concerning this topic which may help you. for
your problem: could you describe what happens when you try to reproduce
the tutorial or, better said, what doesn't happen ;). to get into rcp/rap
i'd suggest to take a deeper look at the example applications and start a
new rap project from a template and play a bit. browsing this newsgroup is
also very important because many "beginner-problems" have already been
discussed here. since the rcp and rap development is pretty similar you
can also take a look at rcp tutorials.

Hi,

there is another tutorial about war deployment which you can find here:
http://rapblog.innoopract.com/2007/12/rap-deployment-part-2- deploying-your.html

But I wonder what's the problem with the tutorial of the RAP Help? Any
concrete problems?
