Hello,

I have MinGW 3.2 installed with CDT, and I am unable to use the debugger.
When ever the debugger starts, I get

"Exception occurred during launch Reason: Failed Launching CDI Debugger: No
symbol "auto" in current context.

Any ideas what this is and how to solve it?

Thanks,

/a

Never mind.

The debugger needs to be set to MinGW debugger in the Debug TAB. It would be
great if some of these settings could be available from the preferences
area. As for all projects and things that I do with CDT these settings are
very likely to be the same. Perhaps a local setting on the Run/Project tab
can override these settings.

Thanks,

/a

Good point. Can you create a change request in bugzilla?
