We've just finished the infrastructure for integrating with other plug-ins
for configuring maven projects.
The first example of this integration is for maven projects with war
packaging, which are configured with the Dynamic Web Project facets from
Web Tools Project.
It is still work in progress, but if you want to check it out, it can be
installed from the q4e development update site:
http://q4e.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/updatesite-dev/
The current feature set includes:
- Integration with the new project and project import wizards.
* If you're packaging is war, the project should automatically be WTP
enabled.
- Filtering of deployed artifacts
* Only artifacts with default scope or compile scope will be deployed
to your testing server.
Usual WTP features like hot deployment of modified java files and
resources, debugging and so on are also working.
There is an screencast available at http://tinyurl.com/ynqewf

Abel Muiño.
