Drag TreeViewer column at the edge and let the viewer scroll [message #660687] Mon, 21 March 2011 03:39 Go to next message

I have a TreeViewer with 20 columns, while some of them are hidden due
to the width limitation. Now I would like to drag my first column to
the end. Here are the steps:

1. Drag column0 to the right-most column
2. Release column
3. Scroll viewer to right with column0 still visible
4. Redo (1-3) till reach the right-most column

Is there a function to drag and hold column at the edge to let viewer
automatically scroll?

Thanks

This should ideally happen at the native level. This has been logged in
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=320092 .
