I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I've been googling and browsing the forum here for the better part of 3 hours and I can't find an answer to this question.
I'm using Eclipse Helios build 20100617-1415. When I'm in a Java editor window making code changes, if the text runs off the right side of the screen and I pause during my typing, the window snaps back to the left. The cursor stays at the position where I stopped typing but the focus moves to the left side of the line. If I resume typing, it picks up right where I left off, but it snaps back to the cursor again.
When I'm making code changes from a document I have on the other screen, I often need to stop to reference a requirement or something that I've got displayed, and every time I pause Eclipse snaps back to the left.
Is there a way to turn this off?
