How to Extend Ecore Model with Extension XML Schema [message #636173]

Is it possible in the Eclipse Gui to extend an existing ecore model with an extension xsd schema?

The Model Importer seems to only allow an ecore model or rose class model or xml schema and the XML Schema Import only then allows .xsd or .wsdl.

Schemas can only extend schemas.

Yes, those are the sources. If you want to extend some existing Ecore
model with an XML Schema, then you'll need an XML schema corresponding
to that existing Ecore model. You can get one of those by using Export
Model... from the GenModel....
