Hello all,
I have a question concerning Instance Specification in Composite Structure
diagram.
UML spec 07-02-03 9.3.13 Structured Classifier, Figure 9.26 - 'A instance
of the Car class' shows Instance specification with nested instance specifications
connected by links. But Instance Specification cannot own other InstanceSpecifications.
If those nested Instance Specifications are InstanceValues they should be
shown outside and connected to the instance (UML 07-02-03 7.3.23 InstanceValue
An instance value can appear using textual or graphical notation. When textual,
as can appear for the value of an attribute slot, the name of the instance
is shown. When graphical, a reference value is shown by connecting to the
instance).
So, I am confused. Can anybody tell me, how model for these picture looks
like. *.uml file will be the best answer.
