"New Class" keyboard shortcut [message #61474] Sat, 07 May 2005 06:49 Go to next message

Hello everybody.

Another newbie question to which I couldnt find an answer to:

Is there a keyboard shortcut to the "New Class" action ? I mean the
button with the green letter 'C' you can see in the toolbar.

CTRL+N opens the "new" menu - which is too general, and I actually need
to define a new class - just like pressing the green 'C' button.

If there is no shortcut, can I define one ?

Thank you all !

Thank you, Lewis.
This is a bit progress, but it does open a dialog with many many options,
where class is one of them. I need to scroll to get to it (as I have some
plugins installed, and their types fill up this dialog box).

I am looking for a direct way to open the "New Java Class" wizard - just
like clicking the green 'C' button.

Maybe this feature is missing ??
