Configure the Palette by removing some Drawers [message #129010] |

Hi there,
I am just learning to build my own plugins for eclipse. Since I want to
have a graphical Editor in it, my first thought was to use VE. I allready
managed to add my own palette-drawers to the VE-Palette, but I'd also like
to remove the swing/SWT-Drawers, in Order to guide the user to my own
Drawers.
I read something in the VE-tutorial about implementing the
IConfigurationContribution, but I didn't manage to remove those drawers.
Could anyone please give me a hint how to remove those paletteentrys?
THanks!
Alex

Alex,
I am working on building a VE for GWT widgets and am running into similar issues like you did. Could you please send me your project so that I can use it as a reference for creating the UI widgets. (I am getting lost in all the EditPart, Proxy, Decoder, overrides etc.). I was wondering if you could share your project or some part of it, so I can use it as a guide.
Thank you
Krishna
