i've seen a few similar questions in the group, but none of their
solutions have helped me.

i'm trying to install ve into eclipse 3.1... i've unzipped the files into
the appropriate directories, but i still cannot create a new visual class
(the option simply is not there)...

i've also tried to install through the help-> software updates ->
find/install...
and my results have been the same

does any one have any idea what could be wrong?
thanks,
mike

See if there are any errors in the .log file. It will be visible in the
Java/Java Browsing Perspective as New->VisualClass.

Make sure you have the other prerequisite software loaded, ie EMF and GEF,
you can get them from the VE d/l page.
