I have installed eclipse 3.0.1, GEF 3.0.1, EMF 2.1.0 and VE 1.0.1.1 .
I can't watch Swing or AWT code (incl. eclipse examples) in the design
view of VE. If I start a new example class, code are generated but no view
in the design window and no items in the Bean-View. I can create new
components in design window, the code for a variable and get-methode are
created, but not added to the automatic build JPanel of the example. Only
I can view the frame with RUN>Application (implemented main), but without
JavaBean.
What must I do to watch Swing in dwsign view?

Thanks for trying to help.
I found the error by myself, it was a fault between VE plug-in and EMF
example plug-in. I disabled EMF example plug-in and VE ran proper.

Is there anything written to the .log file ? This is in the .metadata
directory of the workspace.
What operating system and JRE level are you using ?
