Bonjour

Unfortunately, many of the developpers do not read this newsgroup
regurlarly. So when you have bugs, enhancements request, etc ...
Please use the tracking system, Bugzilla.

Reminder that we have mailing lists, for developpement, where patches
drafts, proposals, code review and ongoing discussion take place.

Thanks.

The developers should be reading this newsgroup. What made eclipse R2 so
accepted is that the developers were responding to user needs on the
newsgroup. The developers heard which features were annoying and, as far as
I can tell, 2.0.2 addresses most of the issues. The traffic in this
newsgroup is not so high that the developers can't monitor it. OpenSource
gains by dialog.

Very true, but that was not my point.

We want to track bugs, have a followup until fixed/closed/resolved etc ..
unfortunately things tend to be forgotten in newsgroup. This is
why we have tracking system like gnats or bugzilla etc ..

Second, CDT is not the same type of effort as Eclipse/JDT/Platform where
the
entire cie through there weight behind it, the developpers are
fully dedicated to this. The CDT brave souls developers, that I know,
still
have full time job with deadlines and timesheets ... nothing to do with
Eclipse.
