Enjoy reading The book: Eclipse AspectJ. Thanks for doing a great
job!

         Quick question:
When I follow your book on Page 20 to install the simple
insurance example within Eclipse 3.0 and (Rational Developer V6)
with help->Software Update->Find and Install
  and
    Name: Simple Insurance Example
    URL: http://www.awprofessional.com/title/0321245873/update

I got the following error message:

Network connection problems encountered during search.
  Unable to access "http://www.awprofessional.com/title/0321245873/update".
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default
"site.xml" file. The root tag is not site.]
Error parsing site stream. [The XML stream is not a valid default
"site.xml" file. The root tag is not site.]

This has been frustrated to me. I really want to follow the book to
do the example.
Do you know what is the problem?

Thanks in advance!

Just found your post... sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Simple Insurance 2 represents the state of the project at the end of
section 2.5. Simple Insurance 3 represents the state of the project at
the end of the chapter (chapter 2).

The Addison Wesley site is only setup for ZIP download so you could try
that or the alternative update site:
 http://www.aspectprogrammer.org/eclipseaspectj/examples/upda te

Yes! It works on above update site. Thanks!
Could you post this in your book site (Addison Wesley site or do you have
other site for your book)so that people who bought book can avoid the
"error"
I experienced...

Thanks

Matthew,
I just downloaded it but find some confusion. Simple Insurance
Example 1 corresponds to the first exmaple shown in chapter 2. And
simple Insurance Example 2 is the final version of the example shown
in chapter 2. is that right? But I find the PolicyChangeNotification.aj
is NOT the same one shown in Figure 2.41 on page 57. How can I use
these examples. Thanks.

Simple Insurance 2 represents the state of the project at the end of
section 2.5. Simple Insurance 3 represents the state of the project at
the end of the chapter (chapter 2).
