PLEASE in some some upcoming iteration concentrate on building &
compilation speed! This thing is starting to tear me down!
While eclipse's JDT stands well among modern IDE's that provide
edit-compile-run turnaround times of a few seconds, with AJDT enabled on
our project I feel like thrown back into the 1980s where turnaround
times of 1-3 minutes were normal.
Having "Project => Build automatically..." enabled even on a medium
sized project is like throwing a big anker out of a racing car, i.e.
theUI is constantly blocking and telling me "Building workspace" and
then sits there for at least 30 seconds but often much longer. :-(
It would be too bad, if this slides down the road "in theory nice but
unusable in practice...".

Hi Andy,
thanks for the good news and sorry, if my append sounded too negative
(it was just during another one of those forced twiddling thumbs
periods, when I had to express some of my frustration...).
Looking forward to the magic I got acustomed to expect from You folks!

Hi Michael,
Once this 1.5.0 beast is complete then the compilation speed (and
closely related memory footprint) are absolutely the next thing we'll be
working on.
We have been working on ideas about how we're going to solve it. We just
haven't had the time to sit down and implement it correctly - it *is*
rocket science :)
