Recent releases of IMP no longer depend on the JDT. Code/plugins that did
depend on the JDT (for debugging, launching, etc.) were moved to a separate
feature org.eclipse.imp.java.hosted, on which the main runtime feature
(org.eclipse.imp.runtime) does not depend.
See my post dated 9/3/09 titled "New release of IMP available on the update
site".
If you're having any problems with this, please let us know!
