Hi Everyone

I am trying to install the RSE on eclipse with the update manager. When I
go to find new things to install and select the Target Management Site, it
says

Target Management Service Discovery (2.0.0.v20070611-7J--E8McIJNJCPr)
requires plug-in "org.eclipse.emf.ecore (2.2.0)", or compatible.

Where can I find that plugin. Is there a remote site I can point to to
automatically get it and install it? I have been looking forever. I
would appreciate any help that anyone could offer.

THanks Alot

Needless to say, the Europa Discovery site comes preconfigured
with your Eclipse Platform installation. Just

Help > Software Updates > Find and Install >
Search for New Features > Europa Discovery Site

You'll find TM and RSE under the Remote Access and Device Development
category. Select what you want, the press the "Select Required" button.

Hi Brett,

You can use the Europa update site to find EMF or you can use this
update site: http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/site.xml

If you are installing all of Target Management you will also need to
install CDT for the Remote C/C++ Debug Launcher. Which can also be
found on the Europa update site or
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/europa

If you do not need the Service Discovery or the Remote C/C++ Debug
Launcher you can click on the + beside Target Management in the update
manager to expand it and select only the options you want to install.
