I hadn't seen any new information on the Web-based report designer since a
Feb 2005 newsgroup posting that said you weren't actively working on it.

I wanted to know if this is still the case. This is something that we're
very interested in.

Hi Andrew,
Could you provide more required feature you want to get from that web
designer? That can help us to plan for WRD project
Thanks

Andrew,

At this moment, we give interactive features in a report higher priority
than web-reporting, though that is subject to change from feedbacks we
hear. Interactive featues include click to sort, collapse/expand a
group, adding computed column, etc. We would like to hear your comments
on what web-reporting features you would like to see. It would be
especially helpful if you can describe your use cases. Thanks.

I would prefer to see report interactivity like click to sort,
collapse/expand a group, adding computed columns, adding filters, etc.
before a full web based report designer. Eventually I would like to have
the ability to build a report from scratch using a web based report
designer, but my higher priority is getting this basic interactivity and
other report features like crosstabs and report libraries (i.e. reusable
styles, data sources, scripts, and layout).
