Hello,

can anybody tell me, when the JSP support will be included (As its support
is mentioned in the release concept)?
i checked the latest integration builds, but unfortunately, no jsp support
is there.

Somebody can tell me when it will be integrated ?

thanks,

Alwin

A new project (webtools) has JUST been created. They will kick off after
the JavaOne event this year. So, at this point in the development, there
is no built-in JSP support. However, there are a wide range of plug-ins
currently available for eclipse that adds JSP support.

I think SolarEclipse on sf.net is a great JSP plugin.

Interestingly, Naci Dai from ObjectLearn/Lomboz (IIRC) posted a
question on eclipse.technology with the subject: "Would Lomboz make a
good eclipse project". This was on April 22nd and if I'm not mistaken
he didn't get any responses. For the original post have a look at
news://news.eclipse.org:119/b83l8p$cb6$1@rogue.oti.com

I'm as much guilty as anyone else in not responding :-) But it seems
to me from the number of requests in the news groups that a project
like Lomboz indeed would be a good Eclipse project. Maybe it would
make a good starting point for the webtools project?

There sure is (and have been for some time). I guess what triggered me
was this sentence from the posting: "...Do you think it is a suitbale
candidate for an eclipse technology project?..."
^^^^^^^^^^
Maybe I put too much emphasis on "technology". I thought he meant
"The Eclipse Technology Project" (http://www.eclipse.org/technology/),
which would be really generous :-) Maybe I misunderstood *shrug*
