Is there an equivalent to DreamWeaver's Library Asset? [message #555492] Thu, 26 August 2010 14:29 Go to next message

I don't expect WTP to be a DreamWeaver clone, but there might be some DreamWeaver-like functionality that exists in WTP that I'm just not uncovering.

To that end, is there anything like the LIbrary Asset in DreamWeaver. This is similar to snippets but the snippet is linked to the various files in which it is included. When you edit the snippet, your changes are reflected automatically in all instances.

This is particularly handy for globals like navigation, footers, copyright info, sidebars that are the same on every page, etc. -- things that exist in nearly every page and are often updated or changed.
