Help with creating new project from source in Eclipse Helios [message #549979] Wed, 28 July 2010 11:47 Go to next message

Hi Guys,
I have been using Eclipse Galileo to do Java development. I use svn command line (outside of Eclipse) to check-in and check-out code. To start a new project in Eclipse, I normallay use the 'Create Java Project' and then check the 'Create project from existing sources' (from my svn working copies) radio button in the project creation wizard.

In the new version of Eclipse (Helios), I could not find a similar option available for me. Can you please let me know the status of this functionality. Was is moved to a different location/replaced with a different but similar functionality? I prefer my SVN command line and hence would like to stick with the approach I have followed with Eclipse Galileo.

Thanks for your help!
Karthik.

In the Create Jave Project wizard, uncheck the use default location box and
browse to the directory with your source code in it.
