Refactoring the type of bean property [message #549548] Tue, 27 July 2010 03:20
Eclipse UserFriend
It is possible to refactor a method signature via
Refactor>Change Method Signature in the context menu
of the Java editor.
Does there exist a similar option to refactor the type
of a data member or even better: The type of a bean
property? IMO the latter is a quite common use-case,
i.e. where one wants to refactor the type of a bean
property, which should automagically consider the data
member, getter, and setter.

Any thoughts?
