I downloaded eclipse-jee-helios-win32.zip and unzipped it.
I would like to add WebSphere Application Server.
The first time I new server, I was asked for configure WebSphere 6.0 Runtime environment, I specified JRE and IBM WebSphere Installation Directory, but got message:
ActivitySession.jar is missing from directory C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\lib. I manually added it(copying it from RAD), then asked for more, Eventually, I added 72 jars(Silly I am).
Then I was able to create the runtime.
Then I was asked to configure the IBM WebSphere v6.0 Server.
I input :
Port: 9080
Server Profile Directory: C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles
Cell: cell1
Node: node1
Server: server1
Then I got server1 created, but when I tried to start it, I got:
The java class is not found: Files.IBM.WebSphere.AppServer.java.jre.lib.ext.ibmorb.jar
The installed JRE I used for WebSphere Runtime is:
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\java, from which I can see ibmorb.jar was there for sure under C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\java\jre\lib\ibmorb.jar
Could anybody tell me if I am doing the right approach? I could not get a step-by-step manual to get eclipse working with websphere applicaiton server. So any help would be greatly appreciated!h
