Hi,

I am a beginner in RAP. The documentation provided on the wiki was quite useful.

While creating a RAP application, i was searching for alternatives to tabbed properties of eclipse IDE environment, but not able to find any.

Can you suggest some alternatives ?

Thanks and Regards,
Ashwani Kr Sharma

Hi,

could you explain what you mean by "tabbed properties"?

Ralf

Hi,
in eclipse IDE environment properties are displayed in a preoperties view.by default they are shown in table.you can also cotribute custom ui using a generic tabbed properties frwk.

Ok, I see. Not quite sure, but I think this a newer feature and will not
be available until the RAP workbench code is being updated (currently
based on Eclipse 3.4).

Hi Ashwani,

I just checked the tabbed properties bundle and it's not that far away
from single sourcing. I pushed a version to Github[1] that runs fine on
RAP. I'm sorry to say that we really don't have the time to care about
all these things so we would welcome contributions from the community in
this area! The incubator would be a perfect place for this.

Regards,
Ben

Hi Benjamin ,

Thanks for the sources. I was able to start using the components.

I found the RAP project very interesting and will be interested to add to RAP project. I think the way to start contribution will be patches. I will do that.
To understand RAP internally, i have posted a new topic:
---> forum link

If you have more information on the post, please reply.
