Task Renaming Error [message #53838] Thu, 02 October 2008 11:37 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
I attempted to rename a task today in the right pane by changing the Name
portion of the task. I changed it from 'database' to
'database_implementation'. I received an error that said the file could
not be renamed. In the left pane, the name change is reflected. However,
the actual file is not renamed. Any ideas as to why this would be
happening? I have two other people working on the same project as me and
neither of them have this issue. Thanks.

You can check permission on the file, file could be read-only. I think
task name is stored in plugin.xmi.

Hope it helps

Thanks. It ended up being something related to admin rights on the
computer. The problem has been fixed.
