Combo: how to get rid of the 3d bar [message #534022]

I'm unable to get rid of the 3d look of my Combo control I try:

Combo combo = new Combo(parent, SWT.FLAT);
combo.setLayoutData(new GridData(GridData.FILL_HORIZONTAL));

And it always has a thick 3d frame.
I'm able to do this with CCombo but CCombo has other issues.
