yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/contributingtoeclipse/ has a
pdf that focuses on using JUnit in eclipse - I found that to be a good
starting point, though its still work in progress and does contains
some errors!

Hey, I am in the same camp. I like the idea of learning both JUnit and
jfcUnit for any java app, much less Eclipse plugins. I like the idea also of
developing the unit test BEFORE writing any code. I'd love to learn more
about how to do this. I can't get my noggin' around how to do that right
now. Seems to me you'd have to have code first to figure out what to test,
so how you write a junit test case before any code, that one sort of has me
baffled. I'd love to see any good info as well. Are there any books on
JUnit?

Incidentally, there is an article in Java Developer Journal this issue (go
to www.sys-con.com/jdj I think) about using Abbot, the Java Swing GUI Junit
extension to provide Swing UI automation testing. I am not sure which one is
better. jfcUnit hooks into the event que of Swing, where as Abbot uses the
Robot class. My understanding is that jfcUnit has the best deal, but I have
yet to figure out how to use it.
