Quick Help please ---- turning DEBUG statements OFF [message #523855] Mon, 29 March 2010 11:58 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend

Hi,

I just spent 2 hours looking for how to turn off the verbose DEBUG statements seen on the Console.

I turned it ON a while back but forgot where I did it. So, I searched all the eclipse workbench user guides, documentations, google results etc and could not find out how to do it.

It's actually quite unbelievable to me that I couldn't find it. My isolated search words are: traces, tracing, debug, workbench, verbose, statements, etc.

Please can anyone just tell me how to do this?

Thanks. Crying or Very Sad

Assuming I really understanding what you're talking about, it's probably
in a log4j.properties (or log4j.xml) somewhere in your application/project.

Your keywords are correct, although an instance thereof might be upper-
or lowercase.

Maybe this is your problem:

Found on Google with "verbose debug eclipse".
