[Xpand] writing binary files [message #521609] Thu, 18 March 2010 05:59 Go to next message

Hi,

is there a simple way to create binary files using Xpand. The use case
is that a model contains hex or otherwise encoded information which is
to be transformed into a byte array and stored into a file.

I assume the answer is no and I will have to write my own workflow
component doing that. But I thought, I'd still ask...

The way of Xpand of generating code is to write text into a file.
If you want to create a binary file, you have to implement this.
