Bucky 3.6 Subversive feature broken? [message #514798] Tue, 16 February 2010 11:27 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

It seems like the subversive feature from the 3.6 site is broken:

org.example.project:buckminster: Trying provider svn(${svn.url}/{2}?moduleAfterBranch&moduleAfterTag)
ERROR [0001] : org.eclipse.team.svn.core.operation.UnreportableException: Selected SVN connector library is not available or cannot be loaded.
If you selected native JavaHL connector, please check if binaries are available or install and select pure Java Subversion connector from
the plug-in connectors update site.
If connectors already installed then you can change the selected one at: Window->Preferences->Team->SVN->SVN Connector.
INFO: TAG-ID 0001 = Query for org.example.project:buckminster

On a side-note: I tried debugging the problem, but had difficulties getting the source for the team plugins. The team project still
publishes old school source features with a single source bundle containing the sources for all projects. Is there a way to get buckminster
to materialize individual bundles' sources to the workspace from that? Currently (with 3.5), it seems to just ignore the source requirement
and materializes the binary project into the workspace.

Regards,
Carsten

Hm,

Installing the Subversive plugins directly from the subversive project as described in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=295696
fixes this.
