Hi,
i am writing a research project about Eclipse RCP. The major task is to show that Eclipse RCP is supporting development of the modern applications. Till now i wrote about basics concepts of Eclipse RCP such as reusability of plugins, workbench, user-friendliness aspects (Welcome Pages, Cheat Sheets, kontext sensitive Help), SWT+JFace, Eclipse Forms.
My Problem is, that i don't know what can i else write about. Have You any idea?
I was also looking for some statistics (e.g. how many firms are using Eclipse RCP for developing the software) about Eclips RCP, but i didn't find anything remarkable. Do You maybe know some interesting pages with such statistics?
Thanks in forward for Your Help.

Hi Ralf,
thanks for Your answer and links. Your reply is also very helpful.
The topic of my research project is: "Eclipse RCP as standard for developing of modern Applications".
I am writing this project for my study at my university of applied science and i am not sure if the results will be published.
The problem ist that this project should have 20-25 pages. So i have to pick up the most important issues to show that Eclipse RCP is really supporting development of the modern applications.
Once again, thanks for Your help.
Best regards
Ranger
