Problem with the bpmn tutorial [message #501811] Thu, 03 December 2009 16:43 Go to next message

Hi,

Trying out the tutorial here, http://wiki.eclipse.org/GMF_Tutorial_BPMN,
for bpmn using Galileo.

When I get to this point "and select our ‘Rounded Rectangle TaskFigure’
as its Figure" there is no figure listed in the Figure property, even
though I had added the TaskFigure Rounded Rectangle as a child of the
Figure Gallery. What am I doing wrong? I went on further in the tutorial
at no point do any of my Figures get listed in any of the properties of
Nodes, just a single empty entry is listed?

Thx.

David

Hi,

I found the bugzilla entry for the bpmn tutorial here,
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=156018
and downloaded the updated bpmn project from SVN, the link in the bug is
wrong now, it is now here
http://dev.eclipse.org/svnroot/stp/org.eclipse.stp.bpmn-mode ler

The figures appear in the list in Properties now. But it still does not
explain why when trying to do it from scratch according to the
instructions in the tutorial why they did not appear in the list of
figures... I am thinking it is the ecore model.

Regards,

David
