aggregator editor on eclipse 3.5.1 [message #493934] Wed, 28 October 2009 10:34 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I use a galileo eclipse (3.5.1) with the matching buckminster
(1.1.350.r10643).

Now I tried to install the aggregator editor from this update site:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/buckminster/tools-3.5

This results in an error:

Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
Software being installed: Buckminster Aggregator Editor 1.0.0.r10838
(org.eclipse.buckminster.aggregator.editor.feature.feature.g roup
1.0.0.r10838)
Software currently installed: Buckminster - Core 1.1.350.r10643
(org.eclipse.buckminster.core.feature.feature.group 1.1.350.r10643)
Only one of the following can be installed at once:
Buckminster Runtime Plug-in 1.1.0.r10546
(org.eclipse.buckminster.runtime 1.1.0.r10546)
Buckminster Runtime Plug-in 1.1.0.r10798
(org.eclipse.buckminster.runtime 1.1.0.r10798)
Cannot satisfy dependency:
From: Buckminster Aggregator Editor 1.0.0.r10838
(org.eclipse.buckminster.aggregator.editor.feature.feature.g roup
1.0.0.r10838)
To: org.eclipse.buckminster.aggregator.engine.feature.feature.gr oup
[1.0.0.r10838]

Where is my mistake?

Regards,
Lars

Hi Lars,
The aggregator is not part of our official Galileo release. In order to use it, you must update your
buckminster from our update site at http://download.eclispse.org/tools/buckminster/updates-3.5

Thomas Hallgren
