cvs plugin shows all files with incoming changes [message #493706]

Hi all,

I use eclipse on windows and connect with samba to an unix machine. When using the compare of the cvs i get all files with incoming changes, but there is no real difference. If i use the cvs command line on the unix server i see that the files are up to date.

Did anyone had such a problem ?
What could be the solution ?

Placing your workspace onto a smb share has always been problematic.
Keep your workspace on the local machine.

Hi,

I understand it is problematic. My problem is that i write programs that i run on a linux web server. When i have the programs locally i have to transfer them all the time to the linux server back, which is annoying.

Is there a better solution ?

I have now the eclipse locally on the unix server and i have still the problem that all the file show incoming changes.

also disconnecting and connecting to the project did not help
