Cygwin Shell used instead of DOS shell [message #491439]

Using the CDT as our foundation we have built a toolchain using our own compiler and linker. When a path is specified as part of a parameter in one of the tools problems arise during the build step because Eclipse is running the build process using the Cygwin shell and not the DOS shell. When the Cygwin shell is run the '\' get dropped and the path ends up being wrong. Is there a way to make it so Eclipse uses the DOS shell instead of the Cygwin shell (besides uninstalling Cygwin)?
