Migrate Team Project Set from Subclipse to Subversive [message #47604]

Hello,

in the past I used Team Project Sets to setup a Eclipse Workspace. I also
used in the past the Subversion Plugin "subclipse". As I realized that
"subversive" will become the standard Subversion Plugin I think about
changing the Subversion Plugin to "subversive".
But I have a lot off Team Project Sets (up to one hundred) in "subclipse"
"style" and it is not possible to import this Team Project Set with
subversive to set up a Workspace.

This is "subversive" style:
<project
reference="1.0.1,https://<repository-url>/<project>,<project>,a0fd5f26b35c001e1ae8f6c792be63aa; <repository-url>;<repository-url> ;branches;tags;trunk;true;200259ad-b061-0410-8518-b3213f39e7 aa; <repository-url>;;false;;;22"/>

More straightforward is the "subclipse" style:
<project reference="0.9.3,<repository-url>/<project>,<project>"/ >

Does anybody know a way how to migrate Team Project Sets form "subclipse"
style to "subversive" style?

Any help would be appreciated - many thanks in advance!

Hello Simon,

Subversive can read Subclipse project set files, for more details please see
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=276947. This functionality
will be available in the next weekly build.

It's good to notice and I'm more relaxed that Subversive will support
Subclipse generated TeamProjectSet. :-)

Just a question to the current state of the Bug-ID. The Bug-ID was opened
in mid-May. The Subversive Version mentioned in this Bug-ID is
"Eclipse 3.5M6 with Subversive 0.7.6.I20090213-1500". The solution of this
Bug-ID is that the support of Subclipse TeamProjectSets will be available
in next weekly build. Now it's end of June.

I'm using "Subversive Version 0.7.8.I20090506-1500". This Version can not
support Subclipse generated TeamProjectSets obviously...? Is there a
weekly build available, so i can see and test this feature?

Hello Simon,

We didn't yet create a weekly build because we were busy with Galileo
preparations. We didn't yet create a weekly build which includes this
feature.

Thank you for your answer. I realized that this feature isn't included
already. I see there is a lot of work for you with Galileo preparations.

I hope it is sure to have this feature included in subversive in one of
the next versions. Do you know whether I have to change the "provider
id"-tag in the Team Project Set from

to
