printing from the Eclipse GUI [message #483644] Wed, 02 September 2009 08:55
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,
I am new to Eclipse and using it to develope services in a graphical enviroment .i was supplied with a plugin for the special enviroment of the system i develope for ( similar to workflow blocks, or visio ) which relay on draw2d to implement the graphical GUI.
The problem i have is with printing the workflow out of eclipse.I choose on the Eclipse menu File->Print and choose my printer .However, because the flow is a large one, i need to print it on plotter ( A0 size pages ).It seems as if Eclipse doesn't recognize the printer is a plotter and send it to print in several pages.
I tried choosing the right paper size and scaling to fit on this size. Also, the plotter works fine with other programs that people in my company use.
How can i make it print on one page and not split it into several pages?
Eclipse version 3.2 (tho i can use newer if needed ).
Printer model is HP designJet 1050.
Thanks in advance'

Yigal
