Using/testing Java Preferences API within Eclipse [message #482798] Thu, 27 August 2009 23:42
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm trying to set up Java Preferences for the first time to store user information, but it doesn't seem to be saving the information. I'm running it directly through Eclipse, I haven't created a JAR file yet. My first guess is while I'm using Eclipse to run it, it doesn't save any of my preferences in the registery.

Is there a way for it to save the preferences while I'm still developing in Eclipse, or do I have to export it every time I want to test them?
