Hi All,
I use Mylyn for a year or so, and find it a great tool to manage tasks,
leave lots of info out of my head and thus increase productivity and
concentration.
Now I try to use Mylyn with JIRA connector, and it seems to work wrong.
I am using Eclipse Version: 3.3.1.1 and Mylyn 2.3.2 with the JIRA
connector. JIRA is Professional Edition, Version: 3.12.2-#300. In JIRA my
account has all permissions, it is added to groups jira-users,
jira-developers and jira-administrators.
Currently I have 2 very annoying issues with Mylyn-JIRA.
The first is that Mylyn simply doesn't show some of the issues from JIRA.
I haven't managed to figure out which types issues it ignores. This
prevents me from using Mylyn as a complete replacement of the JIRA's web
interface as I was expecting.
Another issue, the smaller one, is that when I attempt to search issues by
task key/id and enter a non-existing one, it says 'insufficient
premissions'. Rather cryptic. Is that how it's supposed to work?
Could anyone please help me to understand what am I missing? Maybe there's
some useful info in mylyn logs or a config option somewhere?
Thanks in advance,
Alexey

This has not been reported before. Please file a new bug and include any
clues that you may have under which circumstances you are missing issues
from the task list:

Please file a bug for that as well. This is either a broken implementation
or the error message should be improved.
Thanks.
