constraint's severity [message #477140] Thu, 27 March 2008 03:12 Go to next message

Hello,

How can I specify constraint's severity using UML Editor?
is there a propetry called severity (warning, error,info...) or we should
stereotype constraints to specify its severity?
In MagicDraw, for example, there is a tagged value called severity, but when
I export my profile (with constraint, after specifyinfg the nature (warning,
error..), I did not find the severity in the file.uml

thank you
asma

Hi Asma,

I believe the "severity" is a concept that is added through some stereotype.
There does not appear to be such an attribute on Constraint in UML itself.

Cheers,
- James.
