Greetings, all,

I installed Eclipse 3.5 (cocoa 64 bit) a week or so ago, and yesterday it
began getting a seg fault on startup. I just downloaded the 32 bit version
and it gets the same error. Indeed, my old 3.4 installation now gets the
same error: no eclipse runs anymore! So, it appears to be a problem with
my environment. Here is the log output from running 'eclipse -debug'.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to debug this?

Thanks,

What JVM are you using? Is it possible that you recently got a JVM update?

What flavor of Linux are you running?

What's your JVM?

Perhaps Philip recently got the OS X 10.5.7 update and that screwed with
the OS-controlled Java...
Philip, try opening the Java Preferences app and see if changing the
default Java version for your system makes any difference.

Hope this helps,
Eric
