We decided to use tags in the summary for maintenance releases to avoid
cluttering of the milestone list, e.g. [m2.3.1] for Mylyn 2.3.1. You can
search for that tag if you want to see the list of completed tasks for that
release.

Was 2.3.1 planned or is it a hotfix release?

Mylyn 2.3.1 is a maintenance release only with a few minor bug fixes. The
