Maybe you should check this out:
http://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#browserlinux

1. Locate where your firefox is installed
2. Find out what shell env you are using (TCSH,BASH)
3. If it's BASH (fairly common) open your .bashrc and add a line like
this:
------------------8<------------------
export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME /usr/lib/firefox-1.0.4
------------------8<------------------

Restart your eclipse.

Thanks for your answer!

I followed the instructions and also entered the line

export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME /etc/mozilla

to the .bashsrc.

But when I start eclipse the option "Use internal browser" is still not
available!
I use the Mozilla version 1.7.13.
