Retaining the checked state of check box accross multiple view switches [message #453546]

Hi,
This is what i'm trying to do:
I've two views out of which one view has a table implementation with check
boxes. I select a few items in the table (by checking the check boxes) and
do a submit. I'm taken to another view but the previous view is still open
and not disposed. Now when i go back to the view i want the checked state
to be retained which is not happening.
Can anyone help me out on this?
