I'm new in Eclipse, and I need to use this platform for UML modelling.
Does anyone know a way of modelling UML with VE? Or any other native and
free plug-in?
Thank you very much!

You cannot use the VE project for UML modeling. There are several 3rd
party Eclipse plug-ins for UML modeling available:
http://www.eclipse-plugins.info/eclipse/plugins.jsp?category =UML
