Linking file in project [message #449568] Mon, 15 May 2006 15:15
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

During my project creation I am linking to a file on a local filesystem.
If another project is created that has a link to the same file as
previous project then I get a warning:
"Location c:\file.xml may overlap another resource. This can cause
unexpected side-effects."
Now, I understand that since there is a link to one file from two
projects warning is thrown because editing of linked file from different
projects might cause...well unexpected side-effects. However, in my case
linked files are only uses as input files that are not changed. How can
I specify that I want to allow file to be linked from two different
projects?

thanks,
Alex
