Hello,
I am trying to migrate my toy openarchitectureware project to the "new"
versions in Eclipse 3.5 RC1. My first question is whether there is a
migration guide that contains information, for example, how the plugin
dependencies have changed and what is necessary. So far i have included
everything containing xtend, xpand and mwe, but i still have some
trouble. I'm especially not getting rid of a "couldn't load workflow
fragment" message where my own cartridge is supposed to load. Is there
possibly somewhere an adaption of the oAW screencast demo projects to
Eclipse 3.5? I think this would make it pretty easy to see what has changed.
My second question is whether the Eclipse versions of Xpand/Xtend/MWE
include everything that is found in oAW. To be concrete, for my toy
project, i create my ecore model with Magicdraw just like in the demo
videos. Therefore, i am in need of a uml2ecore workflow, but i can't
find it. Is it missing and if so, is there some way to get it back
without mixing the oAW and Eclipse 3.5 verions of the languages?

Hi Ben,
to your second question: Eclipse Xpand/Xtend/MWE contains everything
that is directly related to the corresponding modules in oAW4, i.e. the
core plugins plus stdlib.
uml2ecore is an additional component of oAW. At this moment it has not
been migrated to Eclipse Modeling. Since it does not have that many
dependencies to oAW itself (basically it is a cartridge with Xtend
transformation) it is likely to be migrated later. At this moment there
is simply no time to get it into Galileo and must be added later. Could
also be that this optional component will be hosted outside later, but I
guess this component has a good chance to move to M2T Xpand.

Has any further work been done on migrating uml2ecore to oAW5? This is really important for us. I may be able to assist with the migration. There are a few missing features we would be interested in too, for example including all packages without having to name each.
