PDE Build 3.2 (M5) can't build my RCP app [message #447605]

I've got an existing RCP app that I have been building with PDE Build
3.1.2 without an trouble.

I have recently migrated to Eclipse 3.2 (M5). I can run and then build
my RCP within the Eclipse IDE (with the export wizard). However, when I
try to execute my automated build from the command line (-application
org.eclipse.pde.build.Build) the PDE Build application crashes with a
NullPointerException. I have attached the stack trace.

I'm thinking my problem could be the result of one of a couple things:

1) Perhaps a bug in PDE Build 3.2?

2) PDE Build 3.2 requires additional configuration (perhaps in
build.properties, feature.xml, or the .product file?) that was not
required in 3.1.2.

Any insight along these lines will be appreciated.

You should try to reproduce using 3.2M6.
If you do reproduce it, please open a bug report against PDE/Build.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=PDE

And provide steps to reproduce.
Please do it now if you want to see it fixed for 3.2. We are approaching
3.2RC1 (this week).

Olivier - thanks for the suggestion. I was actually already half way
through setting up M6 when I got your reply. Seems to be an issue with
M5 as things seem to be building now with the M6 milestone release of
PDE Build.
