Hi Eugene,
I haven't tried the generic web connector yet, although I may try to use
it to access a jTrac installation (http://jtrac.info). Do you know of
any attempt to make a template for jTrac?
Unfortunately, the makers of jTrac did try twice to create a Mylar/Mylyn
connector, but as they don't have expertise on Eclipse development, they
gave up both times... :-(

Mauro.

There is web connector for Mylyn that allows to retrieve tasks from
various web issue trackers. You can see instructions for configuring web
connector in the user guide at [1]. There is also preconfigured template
for GForge (ASM project at objectweb.org) that you can select from the
drop down on web connector repository configuration page.

Eugene

Thx for your reply,
I know that generic web connector, but IŽve got a problem with the
configuration of it.
Seems that I do not have the correct settings for the gforge platform.
Maybe you can give me a hint where to find the template on the
objectweb.org site.

Benjamin,
The link gave in my previous email was pointing to the step by step
instructions for configuring web connector. Once you have connector
installed, you can create new task repository for the web connector and
select preconfigured template from the "Server" drop down on repository
properties dialog for the web connector.
regards,
Eugene

I know what you are meaning. But my problem is that the given
configuration of the template for asm project doesnŽt work for me.
I donŽt know why, cause there is no error listed.
I can not see any tasks, or do something else. There must be some failure
in the advanced configuration urls.

Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested in the web
connector FAQ entry at [1] ?
Next weekly build will also have "Open" button in the query
configuration page so you should be easily see actually downloaded page
without using wget. Then once you'll see that desired page is
downloaded, you can use query pattern preview to see if your current
pattern is working. You can also send me your web page if you need some
help with the pattern.
regards,
Eugene
