Hi,

Well I have problem with autoconf
I have eclipse 2.0.1 and cdt plugin org.eclipse.cdt_20020916.zip
I've unzipped it in eclipse directory and now able to create
files, compile and run, but when I right click on project item
there is no such thing like Autoconf. Is this option missing from
this build or plugin is not correct installed ? How can I overcome this
problem ?
Thanks in advance
Krzysztof

There are no Project managment support(such as autoconf, automake) in new
versions of CDT(since July, I think). But CDT developers planning to do
this support. Check out CDT mailing lists, plans and materials from CDT
meeting in July(on main CDT page).

Hi all,

Yes, Igor is correct.

There is no current support for autoconf. At this point the developer must
create a makefile in the root directory of their project. This is due to the
default builder calling make. Other implementations of builders will support
more complex and helpful tools such as autoconf.

(I updated the *autoconf* information on the Eclipse Wikki web, yesterday).
I thought that I had found all references to autoconf. Is this documented
elsewhere? If so please let me know and I'll update the required pages.

Tks
-Judy
